O U R S T O R Y
We have been present in Tenuta Langasco since 1979, the year in which my parents fell in love with this company, in particular for its beautiful exposure and structure. First we had to renovate the vineyards, which at the time were only productive for 30% of the total and, later, we began to transform the grapes we produced by re-adapting and building new rooms to accommodate them. We are convinced that monoculture and specialization are the only viable paths for modern viticulture and the best way to obtain a high quality product with cutting-edge technologies both between the rows and in the cellar. Therefore, by following the various stages of ripening of the grapes, carrying out green harvests in the month of July, controlling the temperatures in winemaking, soft pressing for the white grapes and frequent punching down for the red grapes, we are able to guarantee the consumer total authenticity and excellent quality of our product.

The Tenuta Langasco company is located in the heart of the Langhe, in Madonna di Como, on the hills adjacent to Alba which is approximately 5 km away. Madonna di Como is a small hamlet in the municipality of Alba, located on a very beautiful and sunny hill, where since ancient times, first the Celts, in the 4th century BC, and then the Romans, made the cultivation of vines the main activity, still today predominant.
An area suited to the variety of Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes, the vineyards find ideal exposures and microclimates for excellent maturation which, together with the mixed limestone and sandy soils, give excellent structures but also great aroma to the wines.
